Join the American Legion in honoring heroes – past, present, and fallen – at the annual Veterans Memorial 5K in Marietta Square on November 12. Participants of all abilities are encouraged to attend in this event to raise funds to assist local veterans and military families, as well as supporting Shepherds Men SHARE Initiative, the GA National Guard Family Support Foundation and Post 29 Service Officer.

Participants will may choose to run, walk, or wheelchair through this run on the Marietta Square starting at 7:30 a.m., with a Tot Trot at 8:30 a.m.

Tickets will be $35 through November 9 and $40 on race day. If you purchase tickets beforehand, you can pick up your packet at Big Peach Running on Thursday, November 10 from 4 – 7 p.m., or at American Legion Post 29 on Friday, November 11 from 12 – 4 p.m.

The race will include awards for Overall Male & Female, Overall Male & Female Master, and Top Three Male & Female finishers in 15 age groups (10 & under through 70 & over).
