Join the City of Smyrna for a Juneteenth Concert on Sunday, June 18 at 3 p.m. in the Smyrna Library Meeting Room with light refreshments served.

Singer Dileesa Archer puts her experience and training in multiple genres on display in this eclectic and exciting celebration of the Black American experience. Don’t expect any sad songs during this concert! Get ready to smile, tap your foot, and clap your hands to the best of black composers and artists of the 20th century. 

Dileesa Archer is a dynamic singer, vocal coach, and vocal director. She holds a Masters degree of vocal performance and is capable of singing in several genres, including jazz, R&B, soul, gospel and classical music. Most recently, she was featured on PBS Soundfield episode ‘Why is  Brandy called the “Vocal Bible” when her video of “How to Sing like Brandy” caught the eye of the producers, due to her uncanny ability to imitate the singer’s voice so closely. Her total youtube views are topping 5 million, with many of them being her ‘How to Sing Like’ videos, where she describes how a singer  creates a unique sound and then emulates it.
