The Cobb County Branch of the NAACP will celebrate Juneteenth on Marietta Square! Juneteenth is the most popular annual celebration of emancipation from slavery in the United States.
Experience the Juneteenth Cultural Festival on Saturday, June 20, featuring food, merchandise, and vendors, a health fair, and entertainment from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Organized by the Cobb County Branch NAACP in partnership with the City of Marietta, this annual celebration honors the enduring pursuit of freedom, unity, and progress that continues to shape our nation. Commemorating the emancipation of enslaved people in the United States, the event brings the community together through education, culture, and connection.
Families can enjoy a full day of live entertainment and explore more than 150 vendors offering food, music, community resources, voter registration, raffles, health screenings, NAACP Juneteenth t-shirts and memberships, along with opportunities for fellowship and networking. Welcoming more than 50,000 attendees each year, this event reflects a shared commitment to honoring the past while building a stronger future together.
