Chalktoberfest is an annual chalk festival hosted by the Marietta Cobb Museum of Art (MCMA). This festival features chalk artists from around the world who travel to the Marietta Square to amaze guests with their talents. Enjoy your afternoon sampling craft beers, live music from local artists, watching professional Chalk Artists chalk the streets and eating great food at the beautiful downtown square of Marietta. A great day out for all the family, the Chalk Fest is free to attend. All proceeds go to the Marietta Cobb Museum of Art.

The event happens on October 14 – 15 and is free to all. In addition to the chalk artists, MCMA will have live musical entertainment, vendor booths, popular food trucks, children’s activities, and an amateur chalk competition.

On Saturday, October 14, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., MCMA will present a Beer Festival which will feature more than 120 different beers to try and over 20 wines. Discounted Beer Festival tickets will go on sale August 1 and can be purchased on the Chalktoberfest website. Follow Chalktoberfest on Facebook and Instagram for the latest news.
