The community is invited to join in Art Hatch, a vibrant celebration of art and nature, on Saturday, April 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Depot Park. This event is part of the community-wide Art Blooms initiative and will feature a variety of interactive activities, art installations, and live performances for all ages.

At 11 a.m. families with children ages 3 and older can enjoy The Great Pollinator Count interactive story time and Pollinator Census. Award-winning author Susan Edwards Richmond and Becky Griffin from the University of Georgia Cooperative Extension will introduce children to insect pollinator groups through Richmond’s The Great Pollinator Count and hands-on activities. After the story time, participants will have the opportunity to practice their own pollinator count in a nearby garden area
