A night of live music at the loveliest house in Marietta! Doors at 6, music at 7:30.
Alma Russ will open the night with a solo set, and Rolling Nowhere will follow with a good time!
ROLLING NOWHERE:
“A little bit twangy country, a little bit Coen Brothers, Atlanta’s own Rolling Nowhere takes you on a journey down those mythical train tracks.” Rolling Nowhere is a three piece, Cosmic Country folk outfit lead by Brad Cochran on vocals/ guitar, Kyle “Mud” Moseley on Telecaster, and Trey Watts on Upright Bass. Imagine you are sitting on a rusty bucket, on a riverbank in 1942, with a large mosquito bite under your left eye and you see a spaceship, well that’s the sound of Rolling Nowhere.
ALMA RUSS:
“The sound of Alma Russ is less an attempt at impersonation, and more an amalgam of many great singers of country and roots interwoven into an original approach.” Alma (say it like “Alamo”) lives in Whittier, NC when she’s not on living the road. She plays patchwork music: country, folk, and Appalachian roots sewn together to make something unique. Songwriting is cheaper than therapy, and old songs make her happy. Her influences include Dolly Parton, Lucinda Williams, Emmylou Harris, and many more, and she’s honored to play for y’all.
